Mind wanders

Lying in bed
Early morning thoughts
Wander through my head
Things surround me
Blankets and pillows for comfort
Feeling empty
Future seems bleak, no spark
Only memories keep me warm
Alone, here in the dark
Thoughts of what may be
Unsure of a future
Still in the dark, cannot see
Wandering this earth alone
No past, no future
No place to call home
Isolated in thought
Traumatized by life
Weary, unseen battles fought
No friends, no enemies
Leery of others
Tired and empty
Another autumn season
Anxiety filled
Depression deepens
Waiting for the sunshine
Daylight on the curtains
Keep pushing, waste no time
A new day
Get up, get moving
Nothing in the way
Behaviors to mend
Yesterday gone
Dreams never end
Breathe free
Hope fills the mind
Positivity
Creative ideas to ponder
A beautiful day once more
Mind begins to wander
love to bake
