My sister decided to have a Mother’s day lunch last Sunday. I was not sure if I wanted to go but my son convinced me to get out of the house for a little while.
I beaded them some pins and made them a card. All inspired by this mermaid cabochon that I had. I wrote the poem and my son drew the mermaid for me. I thought it came out well.
Here is what it looked like and the poem.

Mermaid by SE Allen
The salty sea is her home.
The mermaid as she is known.
A bohemian of the sea.
Wild and free.
Ocean waves sing her songs.
Land by the sea is where she longs.
Eyes, pools of turbulent hues.
No need for hats, purses, or shoes.
Beautiful, magical protector.
Friend to ocean dwellers.
The setting sun touches the horizon.
Diving deep into the ocean.
Once again the blue surrounds her.
The maiden of the water.
This daughter, sister, and mother.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great week!
Peace, love, happiness, and good vibes, always.
